Why NepDex starts as a map, not a market.
A creator posts. An audience forms. A product appears, then a sale, then a company. Somewhere along the way it becomes something a person could own a piece of. To anyone outside, those steps are mostly invisible. NepDex records them.
The idea
NepDex is a market-information layer for creator-led, app-led and community-led businesses. It joins the steps that are usually described separately: content, audience, product, transaction, company, ownership, valuation and capital.
Nepal's existing capital market, with NEPSE and the Securities Board of Nepal, already uses shares, market capitalization and per-share valuation. Those ideas are familiar, so NepDex can borrow the vocabulary without borrowing the exchange.
What this prototype is
Profiles, simulated valuations, ownership, business metrics, market signals and a portfolio view, all built on fictional companies.
What it is not
It does not trade, hold money, settle orders or offer securities. A real securities market would need legal, regulatory, exchange, custody, disclosure and investor-protection infrastructure.
